The Lady with pops of red

"Red is such an interesting color to correlate with emotion, because it's on both ends of the spectrum. On one end you have happiness, falling in love, infatuation with someone, passion, all that. On the other end, you've got obsession, jealousy, danger, fear, anger and frustration." Taylor Swift
Happy Friday loves! I had the great opportunity of speaking and sharing with students from the Pan-African Student Union at Santa Monica College a few days ago. I had a great time answering the students' questions and was inspired by their fire and willingness to learn and go after their dreams. When I started blogging, I wanted to touch souls no just with my fashion sense, but also with something that I've learned along the way.
To make a good first impression, of course I had to incorporate a power color into my wardrobe: RED! I opted for my fabulous vintage skirt. I love this blazer/jacket that I've had for a while now but never wore for some reason. Because I wanted to be business-classy-chic, I paired them with a button up white shirt and finished off the look with black pumps.
I am so humbled by this first experience of many and am looking forward to going back there and everywhere to share! Thank you for stopping by.
