Royals

"In the past, people were born royal. Nowadays, royalty comes from what you do." ~ Gianni Versace
Hello lovelies. Happy New year again and hope you had the opportunity to spend time with loved ones and reflect on this past year. Hope you also have a better strategy on how to tackle this new year if you were not able to achieve your goals.
First post of 2015 and it has to be banging, don't you think? lol I chose to start the year with a reminder to all of us that we were descended from royalty! This new year is a year of manifestation and I hope you claim everything that is/will be yours in 2015!
This dress was thrifted a couple of months ago, and what specifically caught my eye was the details on the shoulders, reminding me of Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 album cover and concept adressing social Change. I paired my fabulous dress with  my Royals snapback, lace up boots that you've seen here ( crazy that it is  also a 'royalty' post and it was shot by Alexia Lewis! ) and one of my favorite thrift founds, the purse that I got for 4 bucks if I'm not mistaken. I finished off the look with a spiked, gold plated belt.
Thanks for stopping by and make sure you subscribe to  the blog to stay updated on future posts as they are posted. Also, leave me comments below with your thoughts on this look :-)

Love,
Dolly K
