GGLashely15: A beautiful Love Affair

"I think a lot of people get so obsessed with the wedding and the expense of the wedding that they miss out on what the real purpose is. It's not about a production number, it's about a meaningful moment between two people that's witnessed by people that they actually really know and care about." ~ Jane Seymour
Hello Lovelies! Today's post is unlike any other post I have even posted on my blog and it features a very personal event that occured 2 months ago.  My sister Gallia, the one that I referred to as my twin even though we are 3 years apart, tied the knot with her prince charming Gregory!

How dapper does My munchkin look? And the only quasi close-up shot of the details on my dress
The Wedding took place at the fabulous Rancho Cordova Marriott in Sacramento.  Even though it took months of plannig, countless sleepless nights and many pounds down from my already smaller frame, I am so happy and very proud of how things unfolded! My sister and her now husband didn't hire a wedding planner so we (Gallia and myself for the most part) did the planning. And let me tell you that I have a huge found admiration for all events planners out there because what they do is one of the most stressful (yet rewarding) jobs in the world for sure.

Mr and Mrs Lashley!!!
Her colors were Red, White, Gold, and Black and  Thanks to pinterest and our creative minds, the event was full of numerous nice and sophisticated touches. If you're on a bugdet or just want to cover all the bases for your future events, I  will definitely recommend you get on Pinterest if you haven't done so because it is VERY resourceful and inspirational. Enough with the rambling, Enjoy the pictures and please leave a few words for the newlyweds.
