African princess in a Vintage dress

"I like to mix and match vintage with designer. It's how I create my own style." ~ Carly Rae Jepsen
Happy Tuesday loves! This past July 20th I had the pleasure of attending #PowerBrunchLA, a Red Carpet event series designed for stylish and professional Men and Women to connect over gourmet brunch and bottomless bubbly cocktails while benefitting a good cause. It is another one of Miss Dunnie O's fabulous events. The Power Brunch took place at the Majestic Halls in Downtown Los Angeles.
I opted for this Vintage dress that I have been itching to wear at a perfect occasion for quite some time now. I love hte design and how flowy this dress is because it is the kind that would look good on any body type. I paired it with a green purse and matching shoes to complement the little green found on the dress  and to add a pop of color. I then wore two of my beloved Monabbey Necklaces as a headband ( creative, right? lol). The best part about that is I didn't have to pin the necklaces and they stayed in place the whole time. And finally, I opted for my comb earrings just to stay true to the African Princess theme ;-)
Well, that is all I have for you today. As always, thanks for stopping by and remember  you can leave me comments below, share this post on your different social media and subscribe to the blog via email!
