Setting New Year Resolutions in a White Shirt Dress

 

  At the end / beginning of every year, we get motivated and make resolutions to do better in the new year. But most often than not, especially for me, most of those goals don't get reached. By that I am talking about goals like exercising, losing weight  etc We fall short because, well life happens and we don't always have time or consistency for those goals. I tried setting up short-term goals in prior years, and even then I failed terribly. It wasn't because those aspirations were hard to attain, it was because I wasn't confident enough that I could do it. So for 2018, I want to be more Confident: Confident to know that I can do ANYTHING I set my mind to; Confident to finally start making videos; Confident to believe that I can make things happen; Confident enough to not give up even after I fail. Confident to step in my power and live with purpose. Confident to let go of doubt and insecurities. Confident to speak things into existence and watch them come true. This is my resolution for 2018. I wore this outfit (minus the belt and different shoes) at Ankara Festival all White Day Party around march. I didn't like the photos taken back then, that's why this outfit never got featured. SO this is kind of a remix of it and I love it better too lol  I paired this dress that I deemed too short to wear by itself on my long legs with white pants. And I added the belt for more shape in the silhouette. Let me know what you think of this look and I hope you have a great end of the year! 2017 wasn't great but I am Happy, Healthy and still Highly Favored! SO I am thankful for the good and bad and look forward to seeing what 2018 brings!
